A post got 0 views
A short checklist for a post stuck at 0 views: what to check in Reelazy, what to check in TikTok, and when to pause the account.
A post went out a day ago and still shows 0 views, or 1 or 2. Something is stopping TikTok from showing it, and you can usually find what. This page is the short checklist; TikTok 0 views on a new account is the long version.
Note: 100 to 1,000 views is a different problem. The post is being shown, and that's normal reach for a new account, not a ban.
Check in Reelazy
- Was it posted, or only sent to your inbox? For an account on Inbox, Calendar says "Posted · goes to the TikTok inbox" once the draft reaches TikTok. It's public only after you open the TikTok app, add a sound and tap Post. See Inbox or Direct.
- Who could view it? For a Direct post, check that Who can view this post was Everyone. A post set to Friends or Only me gets no For You views.
- Was the promotion disclosed? When a post promotes your app, turn on Disclose commercial content, then Your brand: in Reelazy's Direct dialog, or in the TikTok app when you post from the inbox.
Check in TikTok
- Is the account public? Check it in TikTok's privacy settings.
- Open the post's Analytics. If the post isn't eligible for the For You feed, TikTok shows the reason there and lets you appeal.
- Run Account check. It shows whether the account has restrictions on posting or reach.
- Give it time. New posts are reviewed first, and a post under review isn't recommended yet. Wait 24 hours before you judge it.
If any of these shows a problem, fix that first: appeal, remove the post that broke a rule, or change the privacy setting.
When Reelazy warns you
When the account's stats are on, Reelazy watches its views. If the last 2 posts have 0 to 2 views after a day, you get an alert, "Reach dropped on @yourapp", with what to check in TikTok. No alert? The account may be connected with stats off. Reconnect it and allow stats. See An account needs reconnecting.
When every post stays at 0
If the tools show nothing and every post still sits at 0, pause the account for a few days:
- In Calendar, click each scheduled post and choose Unschedule. A draft you approved goes back to To review.
- Use the TikTok app normally in that time: watch, like and comment in your niche.
- Come back with one post a day, through Inbox.
The long guide covers how long to pause, what doesn't cause 0 views, and when founders start a new account instead. For a new account's pace, see Account pace.
