Approve posts in Today
Look over the posts Reelazy made, then approve, skip or edit them in Today. Nothing goes to TikTok until you approve it.
The posts you make wait in Today under To review. Nothing goes to TikTok until you approve it. Look each post over, then approve it for its time, edit it first, or skip it.
Steps
- Open Today in the sidebar. Drafts sit under To review, grouped by batch, each with its day and time. If you have more than one account, pick one with the chips at the top, or stay on All accounts.
- Click a draft's cover to open it full size. The arrows (or ← → on your keyboard) move through its slides, and the caption is beside them. The ‹ › buttons next to Post 1 of 5 move to the other posts in the group.
- Decide on each post:
- Approve sends it at its time. In the full-size view, Approve or Skip moves on to the next post.
- The pencil (Edit in chat) opens the post in its chat. See Edit a post.
- The × (Skip) takes it out of To review and frees its time. The message that follows has Undo.
- To handle a whole group at once, press Approve all 5 or Skip all. To act on only some posts, tick the box on their covers first: the buttons change to Approve 2 and Skip 2. Select all and Clear tick or untick the whole group.
- For an Inbox account, Reelazy asks "Send all 5 to the TikTok inbox at their times?" Press Approve all 5, or Not yet to go back. For a Direct account, a dialog asks for TikTok's post choices first. See Inbox or Direct.
Reelazy then prepares the images. The post shows as Scheduled in This week and in Calendar.
Tip: Open the first cover, then press Approve or Skip on each post. The full-size view moves to the next post each time, so you can go through a batch of 15 without leaving it.
Good to know
- Approving to a time slot is scheduling, which is part of Pro. On Free, each draft has Post now instead. It opens the post screen, where you post it straight away or send it to your TikTok inbox. See Your first 2 posts.
- Approve all shows when a group has two or more drafts and the account's TikTok is connected.
- A post goes out within a few minutes of its time. A draft whose time has passed is marked overdue: approving it sends it a few minutes later. To pick a new time first, see Schedule and move posts.
- The slides are drawn as they are when you approve. To change a post after approving it, click it in This week and use Undo approval. It goes back to To review, and you can edit it and approve it again. Undo is no longer possible once the post is on its way to TikTok.
- Skip all asks first: "They leave To review and their times are free again." Press Keep them to cancel.
If it doesn't work
- Approve is greyed out: the account has no TikTok account connected, or TikTok signed it out. See An account needs reconnecting.
- A post shows Failed in This week or Calendar: see A post failed to send.
- TikTok refused a post for posting too much: see TikTok says too many posts.
