Edit a post

Every post opens in its own editor: the chat on one side, the slides on the other. Change anything before you approve it, by hand or by asking the AI. Your changes save as you go.

To open a post, click the pencil (Edit in chat) on it in Today, or Edit on one of your first posts. You also find every post in its account's Posts tab.

Steps

1. Click a slide. The bar under the slides shows Text, Photo (or Add photo), Background, Duplicate, PNG and Delete for that slide.
2. To change the words, double-click the text on the slide, or select it and click Edit. Styles picks a ready-made text style, and Apply to all gives every slide this text's size, style and position. Click Done or press Esc when you finish.
3. To change a photo, select it and click Replace. Darken helps white text read. All slides offers Use this photo on every slide and Frame every photo like this. See Background photos.
4. To reorder slides, drag a slide's grip. To add one, click Add slide.
5. Write the caption and hashtags in the Caption box under the slides.
6. Above the slides: Undo and Redo, History (restore any earlier version), Look, Text, Size (3:4 or 9:16), More styles, and Preview, which shows the post as it looks on TikTok.

Ask the AI

Type what you want in the chat, such as "Make slide 2 about the 50/30/20 rule". Click a slide first to point the chat at it; the box then reads "Ask for a change to slide 2…". Quick asks appear above the box:

• For the whole post: Shorter text, Fix spelling, Write a caption.
• For a slide's text: Shorter, Punchier, Highlight a key word.
• For a slide's photo: Use on all slides, Zoom in, Darker.

While the AI works, the slides are locked. Every AI change is saved in History, so you can go back. Chat messages count toward a monthly allowance; editing by hand never does. See Plans and limits.

On your phone

Your phone shows one slide at a time, big:

• Swipe sideways for the next slide.
• Tap the words to edit them, or the photo to change it.
• Drag to move the words or the photo. Pinch to zoom the photo, or to resize words you are editing.

The bar at the bottom has Text, Photo, Style, Slides and Ask AI. Text sets the look, colour, size and Top, Middle or Bottom, for This slide or All slides. Photo offers photos like the current one, Change, zoom and darken. Slides moves, duplicates, deletes and adds slides. Ask AI opens the chat. The More menu (⋯) has Preview, Download and Delete post.

Good to know

• Delete removes the slides from Reelazy. Posts already on TikTok stay there.
• ZIP downloads every slide as images; PNG downloads one.
• Keep slide text short. See how long slide text should be.

If it doesn't work

• "The AI is working. Slides unlock when it is done.": wait for the chat to finish, or click Stop in the chat.
• A change went wrong: open History and click Restore on an earlier version.
• A post failed after you approved it: see A post failed.
