FAQ
Questions people ask before their first post
Everything about making TikTok photo slides with Reelazy and getting them onto your accounts. Missing something? Ask support.
What Reelazy is
What is Reelazy?+
Reelazy runs a TikTok photo-post channel for something you sell: an app, a website or a product. Paste a link or describe it, and Reelazy writes a short brief. Autopilot then drafts 1 to 3 swipeable photo posts a day for the time slots you pick. You approve drafts on Today and they go to your TikTok inbox, or you open a post, change it in its chat and publish it directly. Posting goes through TikTok's official Content Posting API.
Is it for videos?+
No. Reelazy makes photo posts only: images the viewer swipes through. There is no filming or video editing; you review the slides, then post or download them.
Who is it for?+
People who sell something online and want a steady TikTok presence without a content team: app and web founders, online shops and product brands, and small studios posting for several products.
Do I need design skills?+
No. Each product has a picture style chosen once (real photos, plain illustrated slides, or a mix) and every post follows it. A full editor is there when you want to move things by hand.
Does it work in my language?+
You can chat in any language. Slide text is written in the language of your market, which can be different: you can chat in Vietnamese and sell to US buyers in English. Slide text is currently limited to Latin-script languages and Vietnamese while we add fonts for other scripts.
Autopilot and Today
What does Autopilot do?+
It drafts posts for your product on the days and times you choose, 1 to 3 a day in your time zone. For each slot it picks a format (a list of tips, mistakes to avoid, uncomfortable truths, or a short story), writes several hooks and keeps the strongest, then builds the slides. Each draft uses one deck credit.
Does anything post without me?+
No. Drafts wait on Today until you act on them: approve, open to edit, or skip. Nothing is sent to TikTok before you approve it. Autopilot stops drafting when about three days of drafts are waiting, so an unattended queue does not use up your credits.
What happens when I approve a draft?+
Reelazy renders the slides and schedules them for the draft's time slot. At that time they are sent to your TikTok inbox, where you add a sound if you like and publish in the TikTok app. Approving to a time slot is part of scheduling, which is on Pro. To post straight to your profile instead, open the draft and post it from its chat.
Can I ask for a specific post?+
Yes. Ask Autopilot on Today with a line like "a post about our new pricing" and it drafts one for the next free slot.
Making and editing a post
How does the chat work?+
Every post has its own chat. Ask for changes in plain words ("shorter hook", "swap slides 3 and 4", "make it about the free plan") and the AI edits the slides. You can also start a post from scratch: it proposes an outline with a few hooks, you pick one, and it writes the slides. Chatting is free; each new deck uses one deck credit.
Can it read my website?+
Yes. Paste your app, store or product link during setup and Reelazy reads that page to write the brief: what it is, who it is for, the problem it solves and topics to post about. It reads only the page you give it, and you can edit the brief afterwards.
Where do the photos come from?+
Your own photos first: the ones you upload for the product. When they do not cover a whole post, Autopilot fills the opening slides with licensed stock photos from Pexels chosen per slide, and keeps your photos for the slides where the product appears. In chat, posts use the photos you upload. You can also choose plain slides with no photos.
Can I use my own text as is?+
Yes. Paste your slide text in the chat and ask for it to be used verbatim.
Will the text sound like AI?+
We write against the patterns that make AI text recognisable: no rhetorical-question hooks, no lists of three, no em dashes, no filler words, varied sentence length. Every slide is checked for length and those patterns before you see it, and you can paste a few captions you wrote yourself so the AI matches your voice.
Can I give it standing instructions?+
Yes. Tell it in a chat ("always end with code SAVE10", "never compare with other brands") and it saves the rule to the product's brief, so later chats for that product follow it.
Can I edit a slide by hand?+
Yes. Open the editor: move and resize text, change fonts, colors and backgrounds, add or remove slides. Changes are saved back to the same post.
Posting and scheduling
How does posting to TikTok work?+
You connect an account with TikTok's own login; Reelazy never sees your password. When a post goes out, Reelazy renders the slides to JPEG and sends them through TikTok's official Content Posting API, either as a draft in your TikTok inbox or as a direct post to your profile. For a direct post you confirm caption, privacy and disclosure settings first. You can always download the slides and post them yourself instead.
Can I schedule posts?+
Yes, on Pro. Approving an Autopilot draft schedules it for its slot, and any post can be scheduled for a date and time in your time zone. Reelazy sends it then, even if you are offline. The Schedule page shows every queued and published post across your accounts.
Are there daily posting limits?+
TikTok allows a limited number of direct posts per account per day, and Reelazy caps direct posts at 6 per account in any 24-hour window. Drafts sent to your inbox do not count. The limit is per TikTok account, so several accounts multiply it.
What is the difference between a direct post and an inbox draft?+
A direct post goes live on your profile at once with the settings you chose. An inbox draft appears in your TikTok app where you finish it by hand, which is the only way to pick a specific sound or use effects. New accounts are often safer starting with inbox drafts.
Can I pick the music?+
Through the API you can only ask TikTok to add music automatically. To choose a specific sound, send the post to your inbox and finish it in the app.
What image format does TikTok accept?+
JPEG and WebP. PNG works inside the app but is rejected by the posting API, which is why Reelazy always exports JPEG.
What if a scheduled post fails?+
It shows as failed on the post and in Schedule with TikTok's reason (expired login, daily limit, media problem). Fix the cause, then press Retry.
TikTok accounts
Can I connect more than one TikTok account?+
Yes. Each product is usually one channel: link a TikTok account to it and its posts go there by default. You can still pick a different account when posting. Free includes 1 account, Pro 5.
Why does TikTok log me into the wrong account when I connect a second one?+
TikTok's login page reuses the session already open in your browser. Log out of tiktok.com first or use a private window, then connect again.
Which TikTok permissions do you ask for, and why?+
user.info.basic to show which account you are posting to, video.upload to send drafts to your inbox, and video.publish to post directly. Reelazy does not read your messages or followers.
How do I disconnect an account or delete my data?+
Open Accounts and click Disconnect: the access token is revoked with TikTok and deleted from Reelazy together with the posts made from it. Deleting your Reelazy account removes everything else, including uploaded images and products.
Why does an account say "needs reconnecting"?+
TikTok tokens expire and are refreshed automatically, but if you change your password or revoke access in TikTok, the refresh fails. Reconnecting takes one login.
Photos and rights
Can I use the stock photos commercially?+
Yes. Stock photos come from Pexels, whose license allows commercial use without attribution. Your own uploads stay yours.
Does Reelazy copy other people's TikTok posts?+
No. It does not download or reuse content from other accounts. If you want a post in a format you have seen, describe the format and it builds a new post for your product.
What happens to photos I upload?+
They are stored privately for your product, used only in your posts, and deleted when you remove them or delete your account.
Pricing and limits
What does it cost?+
Free lets you try the whole flow: 1 product, 1 TikTok account, 5 generated decks and posting now to TikTok. Pro is $19 a month or $190 a year with 5 products, 5 TikTok accounts, 150 generated decks a month and scheduling, which approving Autopilot drafts to time slots uses. Cancel anytime.
What counts as a deck credit?+
One generated set of slides, whether you asked for it in chat or Autopilot drafted it. Chatting, outlines, editing an existing deck and swapping photos do not use credits.
Do unused decks roll over?+
No. The monthly allowance resets on the first of each month.
Can I download the slides instead of posting?+
Yes. Download a single slide or the whole set as a ZIP and post them however you like.
Is there a refund?+
If Pro does not work for you in the first 7 days, write to [email protected] and we refund the payment.
