Side by side (as of 5 Nov 2026)
| Postiz | Reelazy | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | A scheduler for 30+ networks, TikTok among them, that AI agents can drive (home page). Plans include an AI copilot, AI images (none on Standard, 100 to 500 a month on the others) and AI videos (pricing) | A maker of TikTok photo slideshows that also schedules and posts them: text on photos, with a chart, table or simple drawing laid over a photo where it helps |
| Who makes the slides | You or your agent. In Postiz's own guide, an agent (Hermes Agent) researches hooks, picks Pinterest or AI images, renders 1080×1920 slides with a Python script and hands them to Postiz (guide) | Reelazy writes them for your app from a short brief, in a format copied from a TikTok slideshow you pick, never its words or photos. 1080×1440, the 3:4 frame TikTok shows photo posts in |
| How it posts to TikTok | As a draft in your TikTok inbox (UPLOAD) or directly (DIRECT_POST) through TikTok's API (guide) | Through TikTok's official Content Posting API: to your TikTok inbox, or straight to your profile. You pick per account |
| Images | Whatever you or your agent bring; AI images on Team and up | Reelazy's library of licensed Pexels photos, or your own photos |
| Automation | Postiz posts what it is given at its time. In the guide, the agent runs as cron jobs, daily at 09:00 UTC (guide) | Batches: up to 30 posts in one go, at the days and times you choose. You start each batch; there is no standing weekly order yet |
| Approval before posting | Up to your setup. The guide sends posts for new accounts as drafts and publishes them from phones (guide) | You approve every post first, one at a time or all at once with Approve all |
| Accounts | 5, 10, 30 or 100 channels by plan (pricing) | 3 to 30 TikTok accounts, by size |
| Price per plan | Standard $29, Team $39, Pro $49, Ultimate $99 a month ($23, $31, $39, $79 a month billed yearly), 7-day free trial; open source under AGPL-3.0, so you can host it yourself (pricing, home page) | From $19 for 100 posts to $200 for 1,250 posts a month. Chat messages and copied formats included |
| Price per post | Unlimited posts on every plan. Making the slides costs what your agent, models and images cost | About $0.19 on the smallest size, $0.16 on the largest, with the writing, photos, scheduling and posting |
| For developers | API, webhooks, CLI and MCP server on every plan (pricing) | No public API. You work in the web app, and the Chrome extension saves posts |
When to pick Postiz instead
- You post to more networks than TikTok and want them in one calendar.
- You already have an agent or a pipeline that makes slides, and need a scheduler it can drive through an API, a CLI or MCP.
- You want open source you can host yourself.
- You want a flat price for unlimited scheduled posts.
- You want control of every step, from hook research to images to the time each post goes out.
When Reelazy fits better
- You don't want to build or run a pipeline. Reelazy writes the posts, lays out the slides, picks the photos and posts them. There is no agent, model key or server to look after.
- You have a post that works and want more like it. Save it with the Chrome extension or add screenshots, and Reelazy copies its format: the structure, the hook pattern and the look.
- You want to read every post in one place first. Each one waits in Today until you approve it. Edit it in its chat, skip it, or approve a whole batch at once. See Approve posts.
- You want photos you have the right to use without collecting them yourself: licensed Pexels photos, or your own product photos. See Background photos.
- You want slides that fit TikTok's photo frame. TikTok shows photo posts in a 3:4 window, and Reelazy makes 1080×1440 slides for it. If you render your own, check them with the photo crop checker.
How to move your TikTok slideshows to Reelazy
- Stop the TikTok jobs for the accounts you move, so two apps don't post to the same account. TikTok's direct-post limit, typically around 15 posts a day per account, is shared by every app that posts for it (TikTok's content sharing guidelines).
- Pick the slideshows that did best and save them with the Reelazy Chrome extension, or take screenshots of their slides. See Save posts you like.
- Copy their format in Reelazy. See Copy a TikTok format.
- Paste your app's link on Start. Reelazy writes a short brief you can edit.
- Connect your TikTok accounts. For a new account, Inbox is the setting Reelazy recommends. See Inbox or Direct.
- Make a batch of up to 30 posts at your times, then approve it. See Make a batch of posts.
Keep Postiz for your other networks if you like. The two don't need to know about each other.
Frequently asked questions
Is Postiz a TikTok slideshow maker?
Should a new TikTok account post directly?
Postiz's guide says "NEVER direct-publish on a new account" and sends posts for accounts under 30 days old, or with fewer than 20 posts, as drafts (guide). Reelazy marks Inbox as recommended and suggests it for a new account's first weeks, and you choose per account. See Account health.
Can I use Reelazy and Postiz together?
Yes, for different accounts or networks. Don't schedule the same TikTok account from both: the posts double up, and every app that direct-posts for an account shares TikTok's daily limit (TikTok).
Does Reelazy have an API or MCP server?
No. You make, approve and schedule posts in the Reelazy web app. If you need an agent to drive your posting, Postiz is built for that.
What does a post cost on each?
As of 5 Nov 2026, Postiz has unlimited posts from $29 a month, and you pay separately for whatever makes the slides (pricing). Reelazy is about $0.19 a post on its smallest size and $0.16 on its largest, with the writing, photos, scheduling and posting included.
